stoned rats and succulents in the bird feeder

Repurposed the bird feeders that were bringing Tons of rats to visit.  They were so crazy for the bird seed they came into the laundry room and attacked it.  Truly nerve wracking.  Put little clippings in a few weeks ago and they are doing great.  Also, good news!  The hummingbirds are back, so at least I have that feeder going and as far as I know, the rats are not going after that nectar.

How about this for some hungry determined rats?  They ate franny girls nibble out of the sealed bucket in the garage!  Pest control guys came out and reset all the traps. And, Fran's food is now in Tupperware in the refrigerator.  I also ordered a metal can and secure lid for her food.

The pest control guy parked out front and agrees with us about one more thing, too.  Our neighborhood smells so
Bad it's insane!  We keep thinking its skunk, but slightly different than skunk, not trapped rats, slightly different than that.  It must be cultivation time for marjuania.  It is so strong that we don't even want to open our windows.  I looked up the odor ordinance and me sure if I can even make a complaint.  Everyone is allowed to grow if they have a license, 12 plants and 12 something or other seedlings or some crap.  But our neighborhood smells like weed and not the smell of someone smoking weed, which I don't even mind, it's the plants that stink!!!

Maybe the rats will get some of the thc from the plants, get stoned/stupid and forget they like franny girl's food.

Either that, or they are super hungry with pot munchies and that's why they are eating with such eagerness.
